I had an excellent experience at Modified Skin Tattoos! I reached out to Hunter Phillips to see if he was interested in filling an awkward gap that was left on my forearm/elbow by some older geometric tattoos. He took on the project without hesitation. After our consultation, I sent him some photos of a specific pattern I wanted incorporated. He took that and added on a mandala that complemented the pattern nicely to bring it all together. The tattoo process itself was very smooth and easygoing. The shop is clean, has a nice feel to it, and I felt comfortable throughout our session. The end result was a beautiful tattoo that I'm very proud to wear forever! Thank you, Hunter!

Alex Davis has done two tattoos of mine so far, & I’m going in a couple months to get the elephant piece finished(son’s birth flowers and a shoulder cap mandala yet to come). Alexander is very attentive in consultations, & open to any opinions/questions you have, to make sure he gives you art that not only he’s pleased to do, but also you’re pleased to have done. He’s great at communicating and explaining things in great detail, while also tossing around his own ideas to incorporate into a piece you’ll leave there extremely happy with. He has a very comfortable vibe in consultations that doesn’t make it feel as if he’s trying to steer you away from anything you want, but instead helping you by combining ideas to enhance the dream you have, to bring it to life. Everyone I’ve met in the shop so far has been nothing less than respectful, caring, kind & professional. It’s a very laid-back, clean, welcoming, safe-feeling environment from when you walk in the door to when you leave. Definitely blessed to find such an amazing artist & such an amazing shop, to have work done that’s always receiving compliments & makes me proud to show it off for years to come.

Walked in after Christmas and spoke with the owner about a fine line tattoo. He was so nice and took the time to find out what I wanted and put me in touch with Kara. She is ABSOLUTELY amazing!! She took my idea and tweaked it and made it perfect!! The place is CLEAN! She was so accommodating, friendly and professional! I couldn't be happier with the whole experience and especially the end result! Thank you!!
